Seek and ye shall find..... eventually...

For ages and ages I have been looking for another wall clock...

I've not had a fixed idea of how it would look just that I wanted it to be secondhand, big and that it would need to be quiet...

I need a clock in my bedroom that I can see easily from my bed without having to engage my neck muscles now I  realise to some, well probably to most, this is rather odd but hey...

As for the noise thing I am sadly a very light sleeper and some clocks are surprisingly loud...

Anyway yesterday I found it...

It may be a reproduction but it is enamel, runs very quietly and was only £3 so I'm very happy...

I also found...

a pair of lovely vintage curtains...

In pristine condition, I'm really into limes and olive green at the moment...

Got the sweet suitcase last week, the perfect carrying size and it had the key!!

Another tin just the right size to put oatcakes in...

A paisley long vintage apron... never been worn, a bit on the large side but hopefully with a couple of darts it will be ok ( must find another sewing machine the saga still continues!!)

I did get some other bits and bobs: a pair of Birkenstocks, two big soft cotton scarfs, a pretty rose table cloth and four huge mother of pearl buttons...

But the bargain of the day goes to a beautiful piece of Art Pottery by John CALVER a new name to me but I just love his decorative ideas well worth a google I thought...

An unwanted present apparently but what a treasure for me!!!

I thought it would make another fab birdbath at only £2 then I looked him up...

Maybe not.... Sorry Birds...

You managed to find an apron!!!
    The ceramic is beautiful.
I know what you mean about noisy clocks. I can't bare noise, buzzing, clocking etc. Your one looks perfect. You did very well and a sweet suitcase too.
