Finished makes, a new pinny and edible flowers...

Toads and a door stop are finally filled with rescued beans and other dried things...

A lovely new Pinny I found at the weekend, I do like a good pinny...

This one is rather big... so some alteration is required really but I just love the pattern, though it is actually running on its side... boats are sailing south, loving the huge pockets but I'll need to move those south too!

Doesn't look as though it has ever been worn it is so bright...

It is a different style to the others I have, this having two little buttons at the back but the arm holes are huge!

I had a lovely afternoon up at the allotment on Monday, my friend John came up to dig some holes for me, to put manure in for the courgettes that I hope to plant out next week. He also earthed up the spuds...
I sowed some beetroot, planted some beans and stood around hoeing leaving lots of little piles of weeds...

I forgot to take my camera (again) but all is growing well the mange toute are growing and I was able to pick a nice big salad bag of fennel, 2 types of parsley, various chicory and mustard leaves, melissa, baby mixed chard leaves and rosemary flowers which If you haven't tried do... they are just bursting with flavour and so pretty...

I hope to go along to a new book club starting at the local library later this afternoon and might pop along to a open garden, just down the road raising funds for charity, this morning...

I do always like a good nose around someone else's garden!

Hope you too have some fun things to do today...

Thanks for stopping by smiles Cass x

  10. Hi Cass,

Your Toads are so cute and your Pinny is fabulous - you're very clever! And I spy your duck there, how funny to think we have the exact same ducks on opposite sides of the world :-)
