Vintage Bazaar but still no cake!

So the monthly Vintage Bazzaar is happening in Chichester for several months to come but now no cake and tea... the lovely Emma of Newton's Bakery will be having a stall next time but it appears there was not enough interest in a refreshment area...

So I suggest if we all take a friend and have a well earned tea and cake break maybe we can encourage a rethink...

Well this time I did take my little camera but due to a very unhappy back (even dosed up with me pills) I was not at my best... it is hard to look at things or indeed take photos when there is a serious amount of spasming going on.

But I really did want to go and finally meet Jenny from http://thecustards.blogspot.com...  here is her little stall... lots of bloggie makes in the flesh...

Jenny, like me, doesn't really like to be captured for posterity so just a tantalizing glimpse...

Stupidly I forgot to buy one of her lovely bags ( seen above right) for a friends birthday...one of  the main reasons I actually went...

I may have been a little emotional or waffled on so apologies to all I encountered...

I blame the pills...

I'm afraid the photos really aren't up to much, could only point and shoot quickly...

Other glimpses...

And finally I spotted and bought this rather lovely rug...

Three treatments later the back is a little better, thanks for asking...

Do hope you have a spasm free weekend...

  2. Lovely glimpses of vintage goodies. People seem so clever at sewing beautiful things. The art of collecting all manner of vintage goodies too. It takes a great deal of time and effort.
I am hoping to start a small vintage shop this week on Etsy. It's a passion of mine sourcing French things, as I am here and want to be able to continue the search.

  4. so sorry to hear about your back- both sympathy and empathy coming your way thru the ether.

A fair without tea and cakes is like...well...like a fair without tea and cakes- not good at all!

The Welsh blankets in your last post were an exceptionally lucky find weren't they?

    Thanks for your kind comment

  5. Lovely photographs but sorry to hear about your back - a nasty painful business. I totally agree about the cake - essential stuff! I wish that I had had a better look around the other stalls now...
    Best wishes

  6. Thank you for becoming my latest follower and introducing me to you lovely blog.
I would have loved to have visited that vintage fair, and Jenny's stall looked so good. What a shame there was no cake!
Hope your back is less painful, it can be so miserable having a bad back as it limits what you can do.
