Vintage And Very Nice Bazaar feb 2013 part two

Do read part one first....

So back again after a bit of Tea and Cake... yum yum...

Now that looks familiar... do you remember my cape?? see it here

Want the bag go here

I rather wish I'd gone back for this tin...

His and Her Scarves and Cravats.... I do rather like a nice Cravat... for as long as I can remember my father has always worn one...

Now the lovely Kate

Who creates little "mummies" and other works of art ... sadly I forgot to take photos of her embroidered pictures... drat...

But here are some postcards I bought... and her info...

and some cards too...

Lights... Camera...

Fancy a vintage make over??

This fabulous mother and daughter vintage duo are the gals to bring out your inner vintage... find them here http://vintagehairlounge.com/

Again sadly the little camera I took really did not capture this young lady as well as I'd have liked but...

And again I forgot to take images of the rest of the stall alongside where I found my treasure... too excited... there was the most beautiful deco silk dress there too but alas...

Now...

Should I show you a little glimse now...

Okay but just a glimpse...

Let's continue...

More lovely tins...

And I bought a TeaTowel.. yes another but I do find it hard to leave a bright TeaTowel behind...

Now please take note for those who live around Chichester if you like Vintage and want to support the Handmade Makers Movement or indeed are a Maker... just in case you are not aware, a new place to visit is about to open... Run by the lovely Iris...

A stall to let you know all about it... go here

Lots of goodies on show here at PolkaDot House

Even a Mother's Day Card...

And so what did I find and come home with....

Well

It is vibrant.... unused...

It is a heavier curtain weight Linen...

It is from Liberty and huge...

And I totally love it...

I now have the most Beautiful Colourful Cover for either my double bed or my sofa...

Having such a colourful winter bed I have been rather concerned of the lack of it when the crochet blankets are no longer required as the weather warms up... but no longer this is perfect... and gives me time to make a patchwork duvet cover from the fab vintage bits of cotton I've been acquiring recently....

Some close ups...

So what did you find this weekend that made you smile...

  4. I think VVN should employ you as their PR. Tried to give you a link but I got worried that I was sending everyone to a garden centre! Will try again when my cyber adviser is home. Bestest EE xx
